I think that bad movies are attracted to me.

Chronicles of Riddic (Director’s Cut): Well, I must say that I really enjoyed Pitch Black. So when I heard most of the bad press about this one I figured that it was just like PB. No. This was just bad. Not really worth the time to watch it as you don’t really get any enjoyment. Some bad acting mixed with poor camera work and horrible sound mastering leaves a bad taste in my mouth not to mention the poor writing. The only thing this movie had going for it were some of the locations and set designs. 2 out of 4 stars, but this is the low end of 2 stars… hell change it to 1.5 stars.

Van Helsing: Well, after approx. 5 min of this movie I knew exactly what was going to happen. This was so bad that even the “awesome special effects” were bad. This film destroys any mythologies attached to the characters ripped from classic horror literature. The worst part is that it tries to be so-o serious. Gahhh, I really did not like this for too many reasons to sum up here. Track down a copy of The Monster Squad if you want to see how to combine classic monsters into one story well. 1 out of 4 stars.
